Array-like Entities

Rapid account: Barlkruzo

Hello,

First of all, thank you very much for your great product - it helps us extracting data from product descriptions in order to provide accurate and detailed users filters.

The primitive data types supported (“string”, “integer”, “float”, “boolean”) are useful. However, we need to extract array-like entities to capture multiple values for a single attribute. For example, if a product has multiple color options like red, blue, and green, I would like these values to be extracted into an array: [“red”, “blue”, “green”]. For another product, this array might be of different length and hold different values.

Please consider this feature, as it would greatly enhance the flexibility and usefulness of your product.

Thanks in advance!

Dear barlkruzo,

We are pleased to announce the release of a new feature that supports array entities, allowing for the automatic extraction of multiple values for an entity.

To use this new feature, simply enclose any primitive type (“string”, “integer”, “float”, “boolean”) in an “array” using square brackets (e.g. “array[string]”). If necessary, you can combine this feature with the “valid_values” option to restrict each entry to a specific set of values.

We hope that this new feature will greatly benefit your product.

Should you have any questions or suggestions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.

Best regards,
Textraction.ai Team
