AlgoDriven’s GCC Car Specifications and Data are used to power website or mobile app vehicle selection dropdowns, structure internal databases and to retrieve AlgoDriven Vehicle Code’s and Descriptions - which can then be used in our other API’s, such as the GCC Used Car Price Guide.

1) Vehicle Lookup
A typical workflow is as follows:

• The user selects a vehicle year. The vehicle year is sent to the /vehcileLookup endpoint. The endpoint returns a list of vehicle makes which match the year.
• The user selects a vehicle make which is sent along with the year to the /vehicleLookup endpoint. The endpoint returns a list of vehicle models, which match the year and make.
• The selected model, along with year and make is sent to the /vehicleLookup endpoint. If there is only one possible vehicle that matches, then this vehicle is returned. Alternately, the API will return additional fields for disambiguation and the process of selection and returning the value to the endpoint is followed until a final vehicle’s details are returned.

Only API requests which return a vehicle are chargeable - the multiple request for disambiguation are not charged.

2) Database CSV Download
This API endpoint will return a URL to download the full CSV database file, that can then be incorporated into your internal systems and databases.
