LookupReviews parameters asin and domainCode get switched

Hi, sometimes when looking for a page of reviews, the domain and asin code get switched in the request, making it impossible to get the reviews.

This happened often with several domains even when testing directly on the rapid api site and entering the information correctly.

example:

{
logref: “error”
message: “could not find product for parameter: asin: in | domainCode: B012CFGA40”

}

Hello,

indeed we can observe this issue for marketplace “in” (India) as well. For a tiny amount in our proxy pool we receive http status code 404 from the corresponding page. All other location looks fine. We will try to fix this by today and let you know here as soon as the deployment is done. In the meantime, if you have any further questions, please let us know.

Best Regards

Thank you for the response, the error still happens, I just got one with this product wich does exist : https://www.amazon.in/Comfort-Morning-Fabric-Conditioner-Bottle/dp/B012CFGA40/ref=sr_1_28?crid=3PPNN401SR53D&keywords=comfort&qid=1703137107&sprefix=comfort%2Caps%2C242&sr=8-28&th=1

404 Not Found: “[{“logref”:“error”,“message”:“could not find product for parameter: asin: in | domainCode:B012CFGA40”,“links”:[]}]”

What is weird is that sometimes the request works and other times it doesn’t I am not sure why

Hello,

thank you for the message. We can confirm from the logs that you entered the information basically correctly, the message field in the response above is just incorrect but this has no impact on the application. We will fix this the message to avoid confusions in the future.

The actual problem is that you provided an asin which did not exists / removed from Amazon during your request, e.g. we see in the logs you performed requests for “B0B42XNM8” and location “in” but this asin does currently not exists that’s why you correctly receive the response code 404.

Let us know in case you have further questions.

Best Regards
