The LastName Origin is an API that can predict the origin of a surname using machine learning. It uses a trained model that analyzes the spelling, phonetics, and frequency of surnames and assigns them to one of 22 possible origins, such as English, French, Chinese, Arabic, etc.

The API accept a surname as input and returns a JSON object with the predicted origin and the confidence score.

The LastName Origin API can be useful for applications that require information about the cultural background or diversity of people based on their surnames.
