Hi, I have google search and I think that is why my info is all over the place with all kids of companies that I have not Authorized from the beginning. So do you think DuckDuckgo is More reliable? I am trying to stay away from companies that sell private info like the White pages.

The #1 Google provides consistently HORRIBLE results for technical support. It doesn’t help that microsoft and adobe intentionally push misinformation into the community to frustrate end users into just accepting the bullshit they are feeding us because fixing anything is harder than just living with it.

How about the fact that Google’s results are based on people paying them, rather than actually relevant or accurate results. I’ve had first page results that had NOTHING to do with what I was searching. Google is the worst search engine of all, because they only care about money, not relevance or accuracy.

Awesome list – thanks for putting it together. I’ve got 3 more to add if that’s okay … All are similar to DDG for privacy (no sharing or selling data). Brave (https://search.brave.com/) compiles its own database, Neeva (https://neeva.com/) doesn’t have any ads, and Inquisim (https://inquisim.com) combines all those features while being free to use. Maybe include these as part of the next update? Thanks again.
