The API is a restful JSON API. There is currently no authentication required. The API commands documented here deal with three main types of data:

• Stores: a fashion store at a particular address.
• Event: a fashion-related event such as an exhibition, trade show or VIP event. These can either occur at a store, or at an arbitrary address.
• Sales: a fashion sale, either taking place at a particular store, or at a particular address. A sale is a subset of the event type, so shares many of the same properties.

Chicmi’s users are focused on getting information about stores, sales or events around a particular location, and so the API is based heavily around that requirement.
Chicmi are mapping out the fashion scene in the world’s fashion cities, starting with London, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Manchester. Use the Chicmi API to access our unique set of fashion data, including every fashion sale, sample sale, fashion exhibition and fashion event in each city.
