I’d like to know a little bit more about the data gathered for this API. How often is this API updated?
Although many information are correct, some BINS are not showing the correct country.
How can I flag them in order to be fixed?

I did some testing and found the following wrong identifications:

  • Mastercard debit not detected. I get “Credit” as response for the supposed Mastercard debit numbers.
  • I couldn’t get a correct identification for Visa Electron UK Debit. They get identified as Debit, same like the Delta cards.
  • Laser Card gets identified as Mastercard

This is a good sample to start, but you may want to visit Developer.visa.com or Mastercards API portal, there is sandboxes at both with alot more information there that you can use.
