I received an alert that the subscription was expired (didn’t realize you were going to paid). I just paid the $400/month for the biggest plan and now it’s stll not working (saying I’m being denied).

Try refreshing — it should work now.
We posted a Mashape message here last week announcing that we’d be switching to paid plans — apologies if you didn’t for some reason, Mashape assured us that all our developers would receive an email about it.
