In the last 3 days or so, an increasing amount of domainr’s API responses have been errors:
Status Code | Body
429 | Too many requests. Please try again.
500 | Ops, an error occurred (?°?°??
It appears you’ve recently implemented some sort of rate limiting?

Thanks for reply!
It seems all good now:)
@weddybird @jackie2011ws apologies for this, our monitoring picked this up at 8am Pacific yesterday, we emailed them about it and they assured us it was fixed at 5pm Pacific. Clearly it’s not, our monitoring has been alerting on it all night. We’re still waiting to hear from them this morning.
Please email us at sales@domainr.com and we’ll figure out an alternative.
I also have exactly the same error,
is there any updates?
I’m having exactly the same trouble. The API tells me “too many requests”. What shall I do?
Sorry for the trouble, we’re getting in touch with them to find out WTF happened on their side. Email us at
sales@domainr.com
re: connecting with our API directly — Daniel from our team will get back to you asap. Thanks again for your patience,

Nevermind, it looks like mashape’s marketplace proxy is down and has been having issues over last few days.
God they suck.
Actually this appears to now be occurring for 100% of API requests. Every single response states “429 Too many requests”.
I’m submitting far less than even 100 requests per hour. I am a paying customer.
