you can use address as input in /location/suggest endpoint. If there are properties that match or close to the address, they will be presented in the response with area_type is “address” and have mpr_id field. If there is an address that match exactly, it will be displayed at the top. Then you can take mpr_id as property_id to use as parameter in /property_detail request.
I’m also looking for this. Looking to get a property ID by direct input of address. I’m looking to get property value estimate and rent estimate for a specific address.
Thanks for the quick response! For sold homes, is there anyway to run an exact search of an address in order to get he property_id? Our goal is to build data around existing homes that people own.
You can get property_id in response from endpoints under For Sale or For Rent.
For example, /v2/for-sale provide property_id under data>home_search>results
