I agree with Mr Rex, there are really good alternatives like aws and gcloud that may also serve as a security layer obfuscating your business logic like api calls, database queries and more.
For this, you can actually create your own end using any tech stack and filtering for the data that you need. That is what I am doing at the moment with the available data. I get the response, filter and return what I want and make an endpoint out of that. You will need to host it yourself though but that shouldn’t be a problem I guess.
