How is Age Range defined?

For example if low = 31 and high = 42, does that mean 50% of the data lies between?  How is it defined?

The model returns a range of ages based on how confident it is about the detected face being a specific age. The larger the returned age range, the lower the models confidence about it being any specific age in that range.
