GaiaLens Controversy Scores API
The GaiaLens Controversy Scores API offers valuable insights into corporate controversies, aiding users in evaluating ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) performance. It provides access to information on environmental, social, governance, and greenwashing controversies, each accompanied by detailed explanations. We continuously monitor thousands of real-time data sources, including news, social media, and NGOs, processing this information through our advanced algorithm to generate scores and provide transparent justifications for each one.
Arguments: The allowed arguments for the API are: companyname, isin. The user must provide exactly one of these arguments. The API will return an error response if more than one or no arguments are provided. In addition to this, the user must also provide a period argument.
- companyname: The name of the company. e.g. ‘Apple Inc.’. It must be an exact match.
- isin: The International Securities Identification Number (ISIN) for the company. e.g. ‘US0378331005’
- period: Specifies the data period required. For instance, using ‘YTD’ retrieves all controversies for the current year, while specifying a year (e.g., ‘2021’) retrieves all controversies for that year. Supported options for the period are: ‘1D’, ‘1W’, ‘1M’, ‘3M’, ‘YTD’, ‘ALL’, and years from 2012 to 2022.
Header: The header must contain the following parameters:
- X-RapidAPI-Host: Set to ‘gaialens-controversy-scores-premium.p.rapidapi.com’.
- X-RapidAPI-Key: Include your Rapid API key.
- X-GaiaLens-Secret-Token: This token will be provided to you as part of onboarding
