JSON Director lookup returns null

Question

The JSON Director lookup requests a company number but returns null in the End Point test.

Also.. there are no parameters for the Company and/or Director Search API. Is there any more detailed documentation so that I may understand how to do a properly defined JSON request to search both a company and a director?

The documentation should have read "the companies house ID of the *director* you want to look up". If you want to see the directors appointed to a company, this information is returned via the Company endpoints. The Director endpoints are where you have the ID of a given director and want to return the details of all the companies they are/were associated with.

The missing URL parameter documentation for the Director/Company search endpoints has also been corrceted. In order to search, you must provide a "name" URL variable. For example: https://companycheck.p.mashape.com/json/directorSearch?name=John+Smith
