• This API processes URLs serving HTML and doesn’t perform javascript rendering when parsing an URL.
• Rate limits for a plan may change in the future.

Common errors

• 422(Unprocessable Entity): This can be caused due to incorrect URL/, URL doesn’t point to a valid HTML page, the website/page doesn’t follow valid OGP specification or the url points to a file. A timeout can also lead to a 422 status code as Link Preview has an 8000 ms timeout.

• 408(Request time-out)/504(Gateway time-out): The website doesn’t allow parsing or was blocked by its firewall.
