Since November 17 2016 00:00 UTC we’ve seen a 100% error rate for Imgur requests with the following error:

“Imgur is temporarily over capacity. Please try again later.”

Our request rate hasn’t changed in the last few months but today we received an email “You’ve reached your maximum monthly quota for Imgur API” asking us to upgrade, even though we’re definitely not over our quotas. Was this caused by the error rate spike?
