How do you calculate API Calls Count ?

Question

I use the api to get the product information from idealo.  I have 10 products call every half hour in 7 days

the API call count should be 10 * 2 *24 *7  = 3360 .

but your system calculate  total count  14,871 .

1 cycle call API 
"search by id"   1 time
"Poll session results" every 5 seconds until get the result.

Do you calculate "Poll session results" as the API Calls Count ?

Yes, polls are counted towards API calls count.
