Text within HTML

I’m getting inconsistent results when passing in text that includes HTML tags vs. stripping out the text only. Any general guidance for this?

Sorry, missed this question. The API assumes that plain text is input, so the only thing I can say is to make sure you strip out any formatting including HTML.
