Hello Josh, "What differentiates CarbonSutra from other similar APIs?" - This is a frequent question that we get asked. These are the five main reasons - 1) Accuracy - Calculating freight between two specific airports is simple. We believe this would not give an accurate estimate as there is distance to be covered between shipment points, collection locations and airports. Here, we find the closest airports from 1.5 million postal addresses in 95 countries and estimate footprints based on intermodal combinations of road and air for more accurate freight and ecommerce shipments. Similarly, instead of calculating emissions of a car defined by "big" or "small", we are using emission factors of specific 4,500 models. 2) Completeness - Calculating emission from plane journey between two airports is simple (and we do it easily). But what about emissions at higher altitudes that result in a higher global warming potential (referred to as Radiative Force factors). Or the upstream emission associated with getting the fuel from oil well to tank? We have added numerous options to address such factors. 3) Transparency - All data sources and algorithms are transparent. Our approaches are explained on the website and we will always answer any question emailed to us on how we have arrived at a specific calculation. 4) Integration - As an option, the results of all estimation calls to our APIs can be stored by us. Hence you do not need to store any data on your side and can retrieve it later. Further, as you test the endpoint, we automatically creates code snippets in more than 18 of common programming languages, with thanks to RapidAPI. 5) Price - For smaller companies and software developers providing freemium options, the free version of API is ideal. No registration is required and you can login with your Google/Facebook credentials to access it. The API is also free for all non-profit and charitable organizations, irrespective of their usage. However, for large commercial organizations, there is a paid option.  I hope this helps. If you have more questions then please post here or send us an email at support @ carbonsutra.com Thanks. lun. 5:57 30/1/23

If you know the exact make and model, the emission should be calculated based Vehicles Estimate by Model API (rather than Vehicles Estimate by Type). The results will be more precise (eg, it would be better if you enter Make: "Lexus" and Model: "RX 300", instead of just "Car-Size-Medium"). Hope this helps. ven. 7:57 4/11/22
