Mistaken API Calls Result in Enormous Charge

I was just recently notified that my credit card was being charged over a thousand dollars because a little script I wrote in Google Sheets has a bug in it and ended up pinging the API thousands of times over the last few days. Is there any possible way that I could get reimbursed for that? I realize it was my mistake, and mistakes are sometimes costly, but I’m asking for a little mercy here. Is that a possibility?

Yes. Could you email us with the amount you are charged: hello@listennotes.com ? So we can open a ticket together to Mashape support. They handle all the billing. We haven’t seen any charges with $1k on our side.
