What is IDfy’s Face Liveness API?

IDfy’s Face Liveness API checks if the selfie your users take is indeed live, optimally clicked to save in your records, if there are multiple faces detected in the image, and what percentage of the image does the face cover.

Face liveness detection helps you uncover frauds by ensuring that the image you have been provided isn’t a picture of a picture, a passport-sized image, or an image of another individual on a cell phone/laptop screen.

How does it work?

Provide a selfie as in put and the API analyses the following data points for you:
Is the face live?
Is the face cropped?
Is the image optimally lit?
Is the image too close/far from the camera?
Coordinates of where the face was captured
