Hi there,
is there a way that you can limit my over use?
it’s very dangerous for us to adopt the API call/plan without blocking the usage and change with overage fee 😦 .

Sorry for the late reply!
We are able to create a custom pricing plan for you that will have a “hard” cap on monthly API requests instead of the default “soft” cap and overage charge. If this is something you are interested in, please send us a private message through the RapidAPI platform and we’re happy to set that up for you.
As far as white-listing specific IP addresses, unfortunately, that is not something RapidAPI offers at this time. I would suggest making sure to safeguard your API keys and never including them in any front-end code.

I brought this issue up to Rapid API as I feel you should be able to set limits from their platform. They probably won’t as it’s not in their best interest. If someone gets your key and exploits it, your loss. I also asked if they would whitelist the server IP addresses which can make calls to increase security and that fell on deaf ears as well.
