what is the best way to achieve a QR code design like the examples of custom QR codes, but with a transparent background.

The options on the transparent QR code are extremely limited and the custom QR code wants a hex code for color … which can’t be transparent 😦

I want to create white QR codes with transparent background to print them on a dark surface.

Any ideas how to achieve this?
