Why doesn't the QR Code download in my browser when I set download to True in the parameters? using both POST and GET method

Do you implement the API via javascript and you request it from a browser client? Have a look at www.qrcode-monkey.com, there you find requests downloading the image file when you click the blue "download PNG" button.
