Face Detection

This model detects faces in an image and their location. It detects multiple faces in a single image with high accuracy. Face detection technology has larger value and more use cases when combined with our other APIs, such as age detection, emotion detection, head pose estimation, etc.

Input type

For the input image, the following extensions are supported: JPG, JPEG, and PNG. The maximum image size is 1920x1080.

Result interpretation

Depending on the results, the output is the following:

“Probability”: The probability score of the detected face.
“Rectangle”: The coordinates of the detected face.
“Margin Rectangle”: The size of the rectangle around the detected face.

“Landmarks” localizes and presents salient regions of the face. Returns the following:

Right_eye
Nose
Mouth_left
Mouth_right
