Hey, i was trying to see if i got any instructinons when making the instructions field true, but i saw no difference between true or false and saw no instructions in the results, am i missing something?

instructionsRequired means that you get back recipes that have an instruction. You then still have to get the recipe information from the get information by id endpoints, the instructions are not returned in the search response.
I’ve found using Get Analyzed Recipe Instructions with id will return the steps.
I second this, been looking into the get instructions by id and no ID seems to return anything.
