I looked further into it and havne’t found a way yet to reduce the latency significantly. Are you sure this specific endpoint used to have latency of ~1s?

I also looked at competitors response times as a reference point to get a sense of the potential latency reduction and I am seeing 15s-25s response times for similar Product Details queries…

Yes it was certainly faster before which is what encouraged us to use this service 😃

Please do have a look if there are any further improvements - maybe the server where it is hosted?

I see that currently, the Search endpoint latency is around 1.5s on average. Are you referring to the Product Details endpoint?

Yes the Product Details endpoint is slow at most times

Hi Adam,

The latency is still very high around 3.5 to 4 seconds. This needs to be faster like before where it was less than 1s

I optimized a few things - do you see an improvement now?

Before it was between 500ms and 1000ms

Thanks for clarifying that. Do you know or remember what was the latency you saw before with these endpoints?

The endpoints we mainly use are Product Details and Product Search
