For complete e-mail addresses, we mostly go by known abusers, known bots, etc. We also do some heuristics on the actual e-mail address. We won't attempt deliveries to e-mail addresses that are being checked, since that's prone to get our servers blocked for attempted spamming, since we do hundreds of thousands lookups per day. random-firstname.random-lastname(at)gmail.com for example, would probably pass our checks, while ezratmp+2pubd(at)gmail.com should be blocked, since that's a known abuser. That being said.. For e-mail domains though, we should be among the top, if not the best, at detecting invalid, suspicious or disposable domains.

Hi, thanks for the feedback. It's blocked. Sorry for the delay. We never received a notification that this discussion was opened. In the future, please send misclassified domains to support(at)check-mail.org

Hey! Since it says "invalid domain" in the API response, I'm guessing you send it incorrectly. Verify that you actually send it correctly, and without any spaces, or linefeeds, etc. I'll check the logs to see if I can locate the error, but, probably, you're sending it with some extra characters, or as an empty string to the API. Best regards, Anders

Hi! For some services (YouTube, for example), they are very quick in blocking traffic when scraping website data. This means that we can't guarantee it will always work with certain providers.

Hi, Sorry, we don't have any information about that. We have noticed some issues with YouTube currently, where they are actively blocking our endpoints, so we aren't sure if we can get YouTube to work again.
