Get horse ID by horse name?

Is it possible to query for horse information using solely the horses name? I’m not sure where I can find the horse ID value from otherwise. Thanks!

I’ve added 2 new endpoints.
Query horses: Find horses by horse name.
Query races: Find races by a lot of filters (race name, course, date, class, distance, …)

Ah I see. I’d be very grateful for that improvement! My use case is to return past result information for specific horses (by name). Thanks for providing this API!
Hi, you can find the horse ID on “Race detail info” endpoint.
Anyway, it could be a good improvement query by horse name.
We will work on it.
