this API is missing some key functions which mean i can’t recommend anyone to use it, and i certainly won’t subscribe until they are fixed/added.

So far i’ve tried 2 endpoints, and both are let downs;

book by id:
i think in late 2022 goodreads changed their book_id system. From what i read they just renamed the variable to new_book_id or something like that. This API is still (1.5 years later) looking for the old id, so the “book by id” endpoint doesn’t work.

list by id:
the “list by id” endpoint talks about getting 100 books per page, but also has no way of selecting which page you want, so you’re basically limited to the first 100 books on any list. 100 books per call is fine, but as is you’re completely unable to get all the books from any list which is longer than 100.
