Search and New Additions Don't Match

Using Poland (id 392) and ‘Armin van Buuren: This Was Intense’ (id 80091714) as a specific example

Search query:
https://unogs-unogs-v1.p.mashape.com/api.cgi?q=-!1900,2017-!0,5-!0,10-!0-!Any-!Any-!Any-!&t=ns&cl=392&st=adv&ob=Title&sa=and
gives an added date (key [10]) of “2016-01-01”

Using the latest additions:
https://unogs-unogs-v1.p.mashape.com/api.cgi?q=get:new10:pl&t=ns&st=adv
gives an added date (key [10]) of “2016-05-15”

Please could you explain the difference?

Also, searching for additions from the last 10 days for Poland gives a different number of results than using the latest additions api - presumably because using search gives an older date of addition?

Thanks!

query1: no… that is what the country specific endpoint is for, the ‘search’ returns general information about all countries as you can specify multiple countries in your search. If you want new country specific information use that endpoint.

query2: I should have caught this earlier… as i mention above the search function is global and returns only titles that are globally new to netflix not any particular country. the country specific search returns anything new specifically to that country so it makes sense that the numbers don’t add up.

Re Query 1:
If a country is specified, is it possible to return THAT country’s added date?

Re Query 2:
get🆕 https://unogs-unogs-v1.p.mashape.com/api.cgi?q=get:new14:pl&p=1&t=ns&st=adv
15 items in last 14 days

search: https://unogs-unogs-v1.p.mashape.com/api.cgi?q=get%3Anew14-!1900,2017-!0,5-!0,10-!0-!Any-!Any-!Any-!&t=ns&cl=392&st=adv&ob=Relevance&p=1&sa=and
10 items in last 14 days (2 of these are the Red vs Blue series updates so actually only 8 new additions in this period)

The ‘search’ is not showing: 80049872, 70243590, 80091714, 70219484, 70301870, 80053831 and 70305593.

Query1:
On the get:new search I return the date for that country, while on the general search I return the globally new date…

Query2:
Can you please include the url of your 2 searches so I can have a look?
