Internet Time is a decimal system of time measurement. It divides the day into 1000 parts called beats. Internet Time is a unique value for all Internet users and is counted from midnight in Biel, Switzerland (UTC+1).

Internet Time is inspired by Swatch Internet Time created in 1998 by Swatch Corporation.

How to use it:

This API has 4 useful properties that you can use in your projects.

/it: This will show the time on the internet, taking values from 0 - 1000, with two decimal places.

/tobeat: Converts a given date string to internet time.
Example: October 13, 2014 11:13:00 = beats: 509.03
Example 2: 2015-03-25T12:00:00Z = beats: 541.67

/totime: Convert a given internet time to regular time in hours and minutes.

Example 1: 541.67 = hours: 12, Minutes 0.
Example 2: 509.03 = hours 11, minutes = 13.

/sse: Unix time or Seconds Since Epoch It is a system for describing time instants: it is defined as the number of seconds elapsed since midnight UTC on January 1, 1970, not counting leap seconds.
