“en” version of subtitle to this video (pIRqB5iqWA8) is buggy and all subtitles are in first element and the rest are empty which causes significant crash in my app.
Yes, thanks a lot. I am new to rapid api but I was overcharged $22.73 for overusage. It was by accident, I forgot to uncomment api call while coding. Is there any way to request for refund?
Thanks, I will take this video down temporarily. Well, if I change the language params to default, it ruins other videos subtitles, before you know you start getting arabic, spanish and russian subtitles.
Hi, I checked this more , looks like YouTube is messing up translation when converting between en, en-us and en-gb.
Will roll out a fix in next 24 hrs. Will keep you posted.
In the meantime, if urgent, you can make this call without the language parameter. Then it’s returning the correct subtitles (as internally it will not try and translate them)

Thanks for quick response. Yes, it works if don’t pass any lang parameter.
I am able to reproduce the issue.
If you pass without any lang parameter it’s giving the correct response.
Somehow the tranlation to en from en-GB (default language) is breaking things.
Let me check the root cause and fix. Will keep you updated with the progress.
