Hi do I need a Elevated Twitter account to access the endpoints for Botometer Pro?
statuses/user_timeline and https://api.twitter.com/1.1/search/tweets.json
also can I use the v2 endpoints instead of v1 endpoints
To get tweets from Gnip you need elevated access, but to use Botometer you can get the tweets from the normal Twitter API (v1). Please refer to the About page: we recommend using the https://github.com/IUNetSci/botometer-python library.
Hey there, but when I send a request from postman retrive the info from Gnip. it says I need elevated access. I was using OAuth1.0
You don’t need an Elevated Twitter account to access the Botometer Pro endpoints. However, we only support Twitter’s V1 API right now.
