If an item ID has expired or been taken down, the HTTP status code in the API response and the statusCode in the API payload are both set to 404. However, this design can lead to incorrect error rate assessments by the RapidAPI platform.

Starting from March 13, 2024, when an item ID is expired or taken down, the statusCode in the API payload will still remain 404, but the HTTP status code will be adjusted to 200. Other error conditions, such as 500, 502, and 503, will remain unchanged.
