Workflow for API execution

3 options available to obtain calculations results depending on the data you have available:

1) Get CO2 data from an AWB: Simply input your AWB Number

2) Get CO2 data from a Flight: Input a Flight Number, Date and Weight

3) CO2 data per Origin/Destination and Flight: Input the Origin & Destination Airports, Aircraft type and Weight

CO2 emissions calculations:

• We follow the IATA Recommended Practice 1678 CO2 Emissions Measurement Methodology.

• If the shipment route includes several legs, our calculations are based on the exact route of the shipment by calculating for each leg, and not just taking into account the departure and arrival airports.

Efficiency metrics:

By running AWB numbers through our API, you can easily create an overview of CO2 emissions from the previous year and explore the option of booking flights with higher CO2 efficiency scores to reduce spending by a certain percentage.
