I ran a query for the word “am” as in “I am alive” and it return details for the abbreviation of Americium (Am) instead. What I was interested in was the syllable count. The result should have been 1, but instead it returned 2 believing each letter to be a individual syllable.

Is there a way I can tell it I mean the word instead of the abbreviation? If not, is there a list of words that are known not to be accurate so that I can allow for this issue?
