I understand but by its nature the pokedex should show much more information about the pokemon than a single pokemon search.

hi bender86, thanks for your feedback, now when we return all the pokemon we only show the little information, because there are a lot of information and the json response is bigger and it is huge, it makes the browser or response processing very slow.
if the user wants more information, he has to go to the other endpoint and get all the features.

in that case you can see all pokemon without versions, for ex:
pikachu and gigantamax_pikachu

the two pokemon are number 006, but de gigantamax_pikachu is other pikachu, is a variant from the original(is not evolution), no we can show this variant in the first list because really not are new pokemon, both are nummber 006

i don’t know if i explain me, is complicated

anyway we are studing how can charge all information and the user experience are good and fast

also ninetales is fire and ice update the type of fire ninetales
