Shazam Sound Recognition API

This API allows you to identify the song that’s playing in any sound in a very simple way.

You can provide the following sources:

• Any video or sound file URL (i.e. https://www.chosic.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/Alla-Turca(chosic.com).mp3)
• Mp3 or video files uploaded directly to the API (up to 128MB in size)
• Google Drive or Spotify URLs

There are only two endpoints to keep it simple:

GET Recognize song by URL

• Description: returns the identified song (if any) given a url (can point to a file, Spotify or Google Drive links also work)
• Method: GET
• URL: recognize/url
• Parameters:
  • url (required): URL that points to the audio file
• Responses:
  • 200: Success
  • 403: Bad Request
• Example: you can use this URL (https://www.chosic.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/Alla-Turca(chosic.com).mp3)

POST Recognize song by URL

• Description: returns the identified song (if any) given a url (can point to a file, Spotify or Google Drive links also work)
• Method: GET
• URL: recognize/file
• Body: contains the binary file to identify
• Responses:
  • 200: Success
  • 403: Bad Request
