Welcome to Microbooks

Microbooks is the World’s first 100% API based Bookkeeping Platform aimed at producing financial reports that are compliant with International Financial Reporting Standards.

Why an API

Accounting rules differ quite significantly accross jurisdictions, industries and even specific use cases within a business. This is on top of frequent changes and updates to the rules. Regardless, the basic bookkeeping principles underlying the the Accounting systems are the same accross the board. The purpose of the Microbooks API is therefore to provide a set of comprehensive backend resources that may be used to consume financial information from any source and return standardized financial reports.
