Hi, thanks for your inquiry. Our API is based on open data and contains information (name and coordinates) about more than 800,000 hotels. About 20% of the objects have information about the star (class) and about 2% of the objects have a description and photo. We need more accurate information about hotels, but we can’t get it yet. Detailed information about hotels is usually the property of reservation systems such as Booking.com and it is issued only to their partners who have significant sales volumes. Interesting sights in the surrounding area can be obtained already with /{lang}/places/radius request, specifying the categories of interest. The Hotel Map + Pinpoint at Lat/Long is intersting case and we plan such functionality.
