Issues with the face contour detection

Question

Hi facemark-team,

we use your API for a web app which we develop for one of our clients. For the app's purpose, it is very important to get the face contour right. However, when using your API we mostly get the inner facial features right, but the face contour is in pretty much every case quite off.

Do you see any chance to improve on this? E.g. with a search algorithm along the gradient to find the right contour? Could we talk to anybody?

Hi Kristina,
We've made some research on this topic but can't find stable quick solution, so unfortunately for now this is the best algorithm for profile countour detection. Anyway we continue our experiments, so if we implement a better solution I would certainly let you know.
