MailOK Real Time Email Verification

MailOK helps you maintain a low hard bounce rate by offering an innovative, real-time solution to verify email address validity. We check the syntax, DNS validity, SMTP responses, and more on your behalf.

The API will return you important informations about the mailbox specified :

status

• valid - The email server has confirmed that the email address exists, it is safe to send.
• invalid - The email address doesn’t exists and the mail will definitely get rejected.
• catch-all - The email server is configured with catch-all, so the mail box might exist, even though deliverability cannot be guaranteed, you should not get hard bounces.
• unknown - Rare occurrence, might happens on timeouts, SMTP misconfigured, …

disposable

true if the email address is on a temporary mail service.

role

true if it’s a role-based account (admin@, contact@, info@, …).
You should avoid these as they frequently generate spam complaints.

catch_all

true if the email server is configured with catch-all.
