I went to the enclout web page, got an API key from there, copied it into mashape and then it worked. However the data available is very poor. If you want to look up well known domains such as amazon.com you will get what you need. Anything more obscure and the data isn’t available. I haven’t tried out any other mashup whois APIs so I can’t recommend another.
