About my plan limits
Can I choose being suspended instead of incurring overage charges when I exceed my plan limits ?

You can actually see how many requests you’ve already used from headers of responses, and you can check these headers in your code:
X-RateLimit-directory-apis-Limit: 1000
X-RateLimit-directory-apis-Remaining: 1000
X-RateLimit-full-text-search-quota-Limit: 1000
X-RateLimit-full-text-search-quota-Remaining: 999

I just want to use the apis to build a podcast website for fun, not for commercial use. Should I monitor the api usage by myself, any other way to do it conveniately? Thank you
From my understanding of the Mashape platform: no.

Just curious: what application are you building? I think you can monitor for a couple days and track the api usage, so you’ll have a better idea whether or not you’ll exceed the plan limit per month.
