TCIN in request vs response

When we query this endpoint: products/v3/get-details with these TCINs: 87849400, 87849366, 87849540 we get a response where the TCIN in the response is: 87849327
This is just one example out of a behavior we have observed. Is there some explanation to it?

We just extract the data from source for you, what you receive is what Target returns. We do not design or work with the system of Target to answer these specific questions at work.
