Can you please document what you define the variables are? I can’t seem to find any documentation relating to what pair_id refers to. What is pair_id?

Do you understand the word “pair” ? The field names often provide the meaning for you already.
Ex :
usd - bitcoin
euro - bitcoin
…
There are lots of pairs, Investing has its own IDs for the system.
