id confusion

From recipes/list, I get recipe name: “Recipes For a Big Gathering!” with id: 3477. But, when I do recipes/get-more-info with id:3477, I get “Fresh Ricotta”. Is this an error or am I searching it wrong?

You should re-check whether or not the returned item is “compilation” (compilation introduces several other recipes) or actual “recipe” by checking “canonical_id” field.
Ex : “canonical_id”: “compilation:346” OR “canonical_id”: "recipe:4179"
In general, compilation id is different from recipe id.
