STEGorKnot started as a web service to check an image for indicators of PixelKnot, a popular mobile steganography app for Android.
I’ve since added more features to the code and will be adding them into the API shortly.

PixelKnot:
Send an image and, assuming there’s no issue with the upload, you’ll receive back a JSON response of:

-or-
{“PixelKnot” : “NO”}

Embedded Files:
{“Embed”: }
Where is the type of file embedded (pdf, jpg, doc, etc)
-or-
{“Embed”: “NO”}

If there’s an issue, an error response will be returned instead (indicating you’re either forgetting to attach a file or that there was an issue with the file not being included).
