undelegated .de and .nl Domains with IDN characters are "disallowed"

When checking an undelegated .de oder .nl-Domain with IDN characters the returned status is “undelegated disallowed”.
That is not correct. Both registries support IDN domains.

It doesn’t look like .nl supports IDNs?

Can you share some example domains that trigger these issues, so that we can debug?
I found out that available .es domains are not labeled “inactive undelegated”, only “undelegated”. I would expect an “inactive” when the domain is available…
Sorry for the short messages, it’s not being unfriendly, it’s just german efficiency 😉
